Privacy

Protecting your data matters to us. This policy explains which data is collected when you visit this website, what we use it for and what rights you have. The binding version is the German one.

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Strohbach & Krey Messebau Design GmbH & Co. KG
Werner-von-Siemens-Straße 10
28816 Stuhr, Germany
Phone: +49 421 56564-60
E-mail: info@sundk.com

Represented by Strohbach & Krey Beteiligungs-GmbH, which is represented by its managing director Nils Krey. Further details are in the imprint.

2. Principles

We process personal data only where this is necessary to operate the website or where you provide the data yourself. We do not pass data on to third parties unless required by law or necessary to perform a contract. For audience measurement we use a service that may process data outside the EU; see section 5.

This website uses no advertising networks and no social media plug-ins. Apart from the audience measurement described in section 5, no content is embedded from external servers. The typefaces are served from our own server; no connection is made to Google Fonts or comparable services. There is no contact form on this website.

All transmission is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS). No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by:

ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich
Owner: René Münnich
Hauptstraße 68
02742 Friedersdorf, Germany

The host processes the data arising when the website is accessed on our behalf. We have concluded a data processing agreement with them under Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany.

Each time a page is requested, technically necessary data is recorded in a log file: the IP address, the date and time of the request, the name and URL of the file requested, the volume of data transferred, a message indicating whether the request succeeded, browser type and version, operating system, and the page previously visited.

Purpose and legal basis: this data is required in order to deliver the website, to keep it stable and secure and to investigate attacks. That is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Retention: log data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless it is needed longer in an individual case to investigate a security incident. It is not combined with any other data.

4. Cookies

This website sets exactly one cookie:

sk_lang — remembers whether you chose the German or the English version so that you land there on your next visit. It contains only the value de or en, no personal data and no identifier that could be used to recognise a device. Lifetime: one year.

Legal basis: storing this information on your device is strictly necessary to provide the service you requested — showing the site in your language. It is therefore exempt from consent under section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (the German implementation of the ePrivacy Directive). The related processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Because no consent-requiring cookies are used, we deliberately show no cookie banner.

The audience measurement described in section 5 likewise sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device.

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. The website will still work, but it will not remember your language choice.

5. Audience measurement with Umami

To understand which content on this website is read, we use Umami, a web analytics service provided by Umami Software, Inc. We use the hosted version (Umami Cloud).

Umami works without cookies and builds no user profiles across devices or sites. Your IP address is not stored; it is processed only for the duration of the request to derive, by means of a hash, a non-reversible identifier that changes daily and allows page views within the same day to be grouped into one visit. The next day that link can no longer be made.

What is recorded, in aggregated form that cannot be traced back to an individual: pages viewed, referrer, approximate origin at country level, browser and device type, and triggered events. As an event we count that someone clicked a phone number or an e-mail address — not who did.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in a privacy-friendly statistical evaluation in order to shape this offering to actual demand. Because no cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required under section 25(2) TDDDG.

Processing and third countries: the processing is carried out by the provider as a processor. Where data is processed outside the European Union, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU standard contractual clauses. Further information from the provider is available at umami.is/privacy.

Objection: you can object to the measurement at any time by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser or by using a content blocker. The website will work exactly as before.

6. Contacting us by e-mail or telephone

If you write to us or call us, we process the details you provide (name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to deal with it.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering it.

Retention: we delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply. Business correspondence is subject to commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years respectively (section 257 German Commercial Code, section 147 German Fiscal Code).

Please note that unencrypted e-mail does not offer complete protection against access by third parties. For confidential matters you are welcome to call us.

7. Job applications

If you send us an application, we process your details solely to carry out the application procedure (section 26(1) German Federal Data Protection Act, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no employment relationship results, we generally delete the documents six months after the procedure ends. If you would like us to keep them longer, please tell us; the processing is then based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.

8. Links to other providers

This website links to external offerings in a few places, for example to a map view on OpenStreetMap. That content is not embedded, only linked: data is transferred to the provider in question only once you deliberately click the link. The provider of the target site is responsible for the data processing there.

9. Recipients of your data

Recipients are our hosting provider as a processor (see section 3) , the provider of the audience measurement named in section 5, and, where an enquiry requires it, our e-mail service provider. Beyond that we pass on data only where we are legally obliged to.

10. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

An informal message to the contact details in section 1 is enough.

Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR

Where we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:

Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen
Prinzenstraße 5
30159 Hannover, Germany
Phone: +49 511 120-4500
E-mail: poststelle@lfd.niedersachsen.de

11. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the legal situation or the processing on this website changes. The version published here applies.
